GMC Cheating Trivia is BACK!

Nobody likes a know-it-all. Fortunately, at this trivia night, money can buy what your brain can’t compute.

Join us on Wednesday, April 15 at 6:30 PM for Georgetown Ministry Center’s Cheating Trivia Fundraiser, where knowing the answers is optional, and strategic rule-bending is encouraged.

Come solo, bring friends, or assemble a powerhouse team. Tickets start at $20, and every time you Google an answer, double your score, or otherwise bend the rules, you’ll make an additional donation that directly supports GMC’s essential programs for neighbors experiencing homelessness.

Cheating Trivia will be hosted at 1310 Kitchen & Bar, where guests can enjoy half-off burgers while they play.

Expect laughter, mild academic dishonesty, and the satisfaction of knowing your questionable trivia strategy is helping fuel real impact in our community.

Georgetown Ministry Center (GMC) guides chronically homeless individuals toward stability through the provision of a welcoming environment where everyone is treated with dignity and respect. Entirely privately funded, GMC serves individuals and families experiencing homelessness across the greater Georgetown, George Washington University, and Glover Park communities, where access to low-barrier services is limited. GMC is a critical resource for 1,000 individuals experiencing homelessness each year. 

GMC offers a safe place for service-resistant individuals experiencing homelessness to meet immediate needs with meaningful community support. Basic needs include access to a bathroom, showers, and a place to do their laundry. GMC has three flagship programs – Drop-In Centers, Street Outreach, and Winter Program.
